Friday, December 23

Festival of Trees, Morven Museum – Holiday trees decorated by area business and organizations. 55 Stockton Street, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tickets $6.

A Christmas Carol, McCarter Theater –  Holiday classic by Charles Dickens. 91 University Place. Shows at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets $20 and up., www.mccarter.org.

Folk Dance, Princeton Folk Dance – Beginners welcome! Lesson followed by dance, no partner needed. At the Suzanne Patterson Center, 45 Stockton Street, 8 p.m. Tickets $5.

Saturday, Dec. 24

Santa Visits the Princeton Airport – Bring a wrapped gift with child’s name in large text and Santa will distribute it when he arrives at the Princeton Airport on route 206. Participants are also asked to bring an unwrapped gift of clothing, books, or toys to be distributed to a child in need through the Mercer County Board of Social Services. 11 a.m.

Holiday Music and Santa at Palmer Square – Holiday Brass in concert on the green, from noon- 2 .m. Free. Santa will also be strolling along the square and you can get your picture taken with him.

Christmas Eve Caroling with the Arts Council of Princeton – Carolers of all ages will assemble on Palmer Square green and sing with the Blawenburg Brass Band. Bring lanterns and flashlights. Keep your eyes open for Santa! 5:15 pm. Free.

Last Day of A Christmas Carol, McCarter Theater –  Holiday classic by Charles Dickens. 91 University Place. Shows at noon and 4 p.m. Tickets $20 and up., www.mccarter.org.

Sunday, Dec. 25

Washington Crossing the Delaware Reenactment – Join the Friends of Washington Crossing State Park at the Washington Crossing Historic Park, Route 32, Washington Crossing, Pa. as they reenact George Washington’s daring 1776 river crossing. Reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by Washington and then row across the Delaware River in three replica Durham boats. 1 p.m.

Hanukkah Wonderland – Camp Gan Israel at Chabad lubavitch of Greater Mercer County will host a wonderland with with latkes, baking and decorating, craftmaking, dreidel spinning and more at 731 Princeton Kingston Road from 1-4 p.m. Free.

-The Princeton Borough and Princeton Township municipal offices reopen Tuesday, Dec. 27.

-The YMCA and YWCA offices will be closed Christmas Day and Monday, Dec. 26.

-The Princeton Public Library will be closed Christmas Day but open December 26.
