Three Bach Sonatas, Princeton Public Library – Dryden Ensemble members present three sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach followed by discussion, 4 p.m., free.

Wine Tasting, CoolVines – Taste some sake at the Spring Street wine shop from 5-7 p.m.

Freeman Dyson Visits the Arts Council of Princeton – Dyson, author of “Advanced Quantum Mechanics” and professor emeritus of physics at the Institute for Advanced Study, gives a talk, answers questions and signs books, 7 p.m., free.

An Evening of Gospel Music and Dance, Princeton High School Studio Band – In celebration of Black History Month, the concert features music composed and arranged by Raymond Wise. Performances by Princeton High School choirs, Trenton Children’s Chorus, and the Revelation Praise Dance Ministry of First Baptist Church. Choir members from Witherspoon Street Presbyterian church and First Baptist Church of Princeton join in three finale selections. At Princeton High on Walnut Lane, 7: 30 p.m., tickets $10.

Vigil for Diplomacy Not War in Iran – The vigil on Palmer Square is sponsored by the Coalition for Peace Action. Signs and fact sheets will be provided, noon-1 p.m.

Jazz Ensembles, Princeton University Concerts – “Composing in the Moment” featuring original works performed by members of the jazz faculty, Taplin Auditorium, 8 p.m., tickets $15.

Classical Concert, Dryden Ensemble – Bach’s three sonatas for viola da gamba and obbligato harpsichord, Miller Chapel at Princeton Theological Seminary, 3 p.m., free.

The Peking Acrobats, McCarter Theatre – Gymnasts, cyclists, jugglers, acrobats, and tumblers entertain audiences of all ages, Matthews Theatre, 3 p.m., tickets $35-$48.

Family Dance, Princeton Country Dancers – All ages family dance at the Suzanne Patterson Center with caller and live music. No experience necessary, 3-5 p.m. Admission $5 per person, $15 per family.

The Mary Joyce Project, Princeton Public Library –  Original compositions in tribute to Mary Joyce, the first non-native Alaskan to dogsled the 1,000 miles run between Juneau and Fairbanks in 1936, the first ham radio operator in the Alaskan territories, and the only woman to run supplies for the Allies by dogsled in World War II, 3 p.m., free.

Nassau at Four Series, Nassau Presbyterian Church –  “Praise with Strings and Pipes” features Janet Miller on organ and Nancy Wilson and Margaret Banks on violin, Danielle Farina on viola, and Peter Brooks on cello. Reception follows. 61 Nassau Street, 4 p.m., free-will offering.
