Police Investigating Sexual Assault at Princeton University

The Princeton Borough Police Department is investigating allegations of a sexual assault that took place during lawn parties on the Princeton University campus this weekend.

According to the student newspaper The Daily Princetonian, the sexual assault allegedly took place Sunday in 1939 Hall, and the suspect may have electronically recorded the incident.

Both the victim and the accused are Princeton University students and were acquainted at the time of the incident, police said.

Police were called to the campus Sunday. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office is also investigating the case, and the university is also conducting its own investigation into the incident.
