Princeton Township Storm Clean Up Schedule

The Princeton Township Public Works Department is in the process of cutting and removing tree debris that was pushed off of roads to clear the streets to make the roads passable after Hurricane Sandy.

Beginning on Monday, Nov. 19th, the Township public works department will start removing homeowners’ tree debris that is placed along the streets.  This work will start in Sections I and II of the Township and continue into Sections III and IV until completed.   The removal of tree debris will be done on a one-time basis and any tree debris put out after the collection occurs on a particular street will not be picked up.

During the tree debris removal operation, the collection of loose leaves will be suspended.  Instead, leaves will be picked up after the public works crews have made a one-time pass through the community to collect the tree debris. Bagged leaves will continue to be picked up as scheduled.

Additional information will be provided at a later date regarding a revised loose leaf collection schedule, officials said.
