Princeton Borough Police Blotter: Attempted Burglary, Aggravated Assault

A burglar attempted to break into a home on the 200 block of Prospect Street last night just after 8 p.m., police said. Patrols responded to a report of a burglar alarm going off, and when they checked the outside of the home they found that an exterior window had been broken and a door was damaged in an attempt to pry it open.  The inside of the house was checked, but it did not appear that the burglar(s) were successful in getting inside, police said. The home was unoccupied at the the time.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Princeton Borough Police at (609) 924-4141.

A Princeton Borough resident wielded a knife in a domestic dispute at his residence on Witherspoon Street just after 8 p.m. last night, police said. Monzon was charged with  aggravated assault and weapons possession. His bail was set at $15,000. His court date is Nov. 26.
