Princeton Borough Resident Charged with Sexually Assaulting Two Patients at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro

A 30-year-old hospital emergency room technician who lives in Princeton Borough has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting two female patients in separate incidents at the new University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Edher Osorio, 30, was arrested at his home yesterday, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan and Plainsboro Police Chief Richard Furda. He is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Osorio is charged with one count of criminal sexual contact for allegedly placing a 60-year-old woman’s hand on his genitals Friday night and one charge of sexual assault for reportedly fondling a 36-year-old woman in June.
The 60-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital’s emergency room at about 10:30 p.m. Friday. Osorio allegedly placed her hand on his genitals and parted her thighs, law enforcement officials said. The patient subsequently reported the incident to hospital authorities, who reported it to Plainsboro police.

An investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Plainsboro Police Department determined that in June, Osorio allegedly sexually assaulted a 36-year-old female who had been transported to the emergency room.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s office at 732-745-3600 or the Plainsboro Police at 609-799-2333.
