Princeton HealthCare to Host Health Fair at Witherspoon St. Neighborhood Information Center

Princeton HealthCare System  will hold an open house and health fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Sundayat the Neighborhood Information Center located at 281 Witherspoon Street in Princeton.

Visitors to the health fair can receive free flu shots and blood pressure screenings while learning more about the Neighborhood Information Center, which is located in the lower level of the medical office building at 281 Witherspoon Street.

The center was established earlier this year to help residents of the Witherspoon Street neighborhood transition from the former hospital location to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro (UMCPP). The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Neighborhood Information Center Coordinator, who speaks English and Spanish, can provide free tickets for NJ Transit’s 655 bus, which shuttles passengers between downtown Princeton and the new hospital in Plainsboro. The coordinator also can help arrange clinic appointments at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Community Health Center at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. The clinicprovides primary medical care to uninsured and under-insured residents in central New Jersey.
