Princeton Police Blotter for Nov. 4-7

The principal of St. Paul’s School on Nassau Street called police the morning of Nov. 4 to report that sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4, an unknown person removed $100 from the school cafeteria. At the time of the report it was unknown if anything else was missing from the school.

Patrols responded to the 600 block of Princeton–Kingston Road on the morning of Nov. 4 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the backyard of several houses in the area. Contact was made with Ashleigh Coles, 30, of Newark, and after a brief investigation it was discovered that Coles had entered at least one property that was enclosed by a fence. Coles was placed under arrest for criminal trespass, and it was also discovered that $550 in active warrants existed for Coles. She was turned over to the West Windsor Police on their outstanding warrant.

A Trenton woman was arrested Nov. 5 after a police investigation was completed into the theft of a watch that was reported missing on the 1100 block of Stuart Road on Oct. 5. Lorian Hawkins, 43, of Trenton was was released after she posted 10 percent of her $5,000 bail.

Police arrested a Princeton resident Nov. 7 after he allegedly gave police a false name during a motor vehicle stop. Ranfis Garcia-Santizo, 43, of John Street, was charged with hindering apprehension and tampering with public records. Police discovered active warrants existed for him. He was released pending his court date.
