Block number indicate a range on any given street where a problem exists. If your specific house number is not listed but your block is, Princeton Police have any wires/trees down on our list. Public Works crews are working to clear all streets, and PSE&G has been notified of downed wires. As PSE&G crews make progress in clearing problem areas, locations will be removed from this list.

Afternoon message from town administration:

The town’s emergency staff met at 3:00PM today to assess the progress that is being made by local crews and in particular PSE&G on power restoration.

Public Service continues to work on problem areas in the Town. They have significant manpower and crews working to restore power and will be working into the evening hours. We are monitoring their progress and continue to report issues to them as they come to our attention.

Residents are reminded that as power does return to their areas and if your property remains without power you should call PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734. It is also not unusual that as power is restored to areas that they need to interrupt power in some additional areas in which to bring larger system areas back on line.

Public works will continue the storm debris clean-up tomorrow and Saturday. In addition they will be removing snow from certain areas.
This removal effort will take place early in the morning. This may cause some disruption in certain areas of the central business district and on some other localized streets, but must be done in preparation for any future snow or weather events.

Warming stations at Witherspoon Hall will continue to be available for residents. In addition both the public Library and McCaffrey’s are available for the public during their normal business hours.
