 Saturday, May 24

Rotary Club of Princeton Pancake Breakfast – Proceeds benefit the Rotary Community Projects and  the Princeton High 101 scholarship fund.  All you can eat.   Live music.  8 a.m. until noon. Tickets $10, children under 5  free.

Princeton Memorial Day Parade – Annual parade hosted by the Spirit of Princeton. Kicks off at 10 a.m. at Princeton Avenue and Nassau Street, end at former Princeton Borough Hall, ceremony at 11 a.m.Send your parade photos to editor@planetprinceton.com and we will post them!

Trenton Pork Roll Festival – Celebrate Trenton’s pork roll heritage with food, music, beer, and more at Trenton Social, 449 South Broad Street, Trenton. 
10 a.m. to 10 p.m., .$5 admission., www.porkrollfestival.com.

Princeton Battlefield Reenactments – Find out how the Battle of Princeton saved the American Revolution. With muskets, cannon, fifes and drums, there will be tactical formations and drills, and a combined arms assault re-enactment of the two-phased battle, with marching, loading, and firing volleys. A special feature will be the arrival of General Washington who will give his greetings and answer questions. There will also be a duel with pistols between two officers, all with the backdrop and activities of a typical American Revolution military camp with campfires and the cooking and other domestic activities of camp followers.Hot dogs and ice cream will be available for purchase. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Free.

Cafe Improv – Music, poetry, comedy and more at the Arts Council of Princeton. 7 to 10 p.m. $2 admission, $1 for seniors, students and Arts Council members.

Sunday, May 25

Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge – The story of John Roebling and his family as they persevered  to complete the Brooklyn Bridge. Theater to Go, New Jersey State Museum, 206 West State Street, Trenton. 
1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. $20 fee includes admission to the state museum.

Monday, May 26

Pennington Memorial Day Parade – Automobiles, children’s groups, and floats will travel down S. Main St., turn left on Delaware Ave., and conclude on Green St. Begins at 11 a.m.

West Windsor Memorial Day Parade – Begins at  West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, Clarksville Road, 11 a.m. Aannual parade along Clarksville Road continues to the township building. Memorial service at the All Wars Memorial at the corner of North Post and Clarksville roads. Refreshments. Free.

The Princeton Public Library is closed for Memorial Day.
