Mercer County Extends Voter Registration Hours for Oct. 18

The Mercer County Clerk’s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the Mercer County Board of Elections office will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18th, the deadline to register in New Jersey to vote in the November general election.

“Our offices recognize that it is very important that voter registration is accessible to all Mercer County citizens,” said County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello. “This will hopefully make registering to vote easier for those residents who cannot make it to our main location during the work day.”

The Mercer County Clerk’s Office is now located at 240 West State Street on the 7th floor in Trenton. The elections board is located at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton.

Vote-by-Mail applications can be downloaded from the New Jersey Division of Elections website.

To check that you are registered to vote, go to the State of NJ Voter Registration Search webpage and enter your full legal name and month and year of birth. On the same page, you can also confirm your polling place by providing your home street address under “Polling Place Search”.
