Snow Expected Until About 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly increased its estimates for the amount of snow that would fall in Central Jersey and other areas today.

The storm shifted west and the Princeton area could receive four to six inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Snow is expected to fall until about 8:15 p.m.

Police are reporting that road conditions are bad in many areas. In South Brunswick, three accidents have already been reported, police said.

In Princeton, traffic on Route 206 was backed up at about 3 p.m. due to an accident just north of Ewing Street.

Police say many local roads and bridges are very slippery. If you must drive, use caution and brake earlier than you normally would brake.

Montgomery officials are reminding residents not to park on snow-covered roads so that plows can remove snow from the roads.
