Opening Reception for “Peter Badge: Princeton’s Nobel Laureates” – The exhibition presents Peter Badge’s photographic portraits of 29 Nobel Laureates who have been Princeton University faculty, staff or alumni. Presented through the courtesy of the Lindau Foundation, it includes a focus on Laureates from the Woodrow Wilson School and a section on John Nash.Peter Badge is a portrait photographer who has photographed nearly 400 Nobel Laureates since 2000. With commissions from the Deutsche Museum, the Smithsonian, the National Portrait Gallery and others, he is based in Berlin and also writes books about his worldwide work. 6 p.m., Bernstein Gallery, Robertson Hall, Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. Count the Species at the Mount Rose ‘Bioblitz’ – What birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, dragonflies, bugs, plants, flowers and mushrooms can be found at the new Mount Rose Preserve off Carter Road? Hopewell Valley Quilt Show at Pennington Day – Hopewell Valley Quilters are planning their annual Pennington Day show to be held on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Toll Gate Grammar School cafeteria. Learn safe biking skills at the bike rodeo.

7th Annual Princeton Wheels Rodeo – Princeton’s seventh annual wheels rodeo will take place at the town municipal building at 400 Witherspoon Street. The event for riders of bicycles, skateboards and skates and will feature bike safety checks, free helmets, raffles and more.

There will be free hot dogs and cold bottled water, provided by McCaffrey’s Supermarkets, as well as pizza provided by Princeton Pi. A brand new bicycle will be raffled as well as a pool membership. Members of the Princeton Police Department, Princeton Fire Department and Princeton First Aid Squad will also display various emergency tools and equipment.
