As of  5 a.m. on Thursday, about  8,800 PSE&G customers in Mercer County were still without power. Almost 90,000 PSE&G customers across the state still do not have power.

In Princeton, almost 2,300 customers are without power, which is 17 percent of PSE&G’s customers in the municipality. Power is expected to be restored by 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. In South Brunswick, about 4,000 homes are still without power, and almost 100 power lines are down, police said.

Dinky shuttle service is suspended, and bus service is being provided by NJ Transit as a replacement. Some trains to New York have already been cancelled for Thursday morning. Others are operating with delays. Leave extra time if you are commuting by train. SEPTA is operating on a regular schedule Thursday.

Many roads across the region are still impassable because of downed poles, and wires, snow, ice, and tree debris.
