Celebrate Black History Month with Princeton Theological Seminary – Dinner in the dining room, program and reception to follow in the lounge at the campus center. Begins at 5:30. Cost $10.

Tosca, Opera New Jersey – Puccini’s tragic three act opera, a co-production of Opera New Jersey and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Matthews Theatre, 7:30 p.m. Tickets $25- $125.

Jazz4Soul at the Arts Council of Princeton – Jazz, soul, and gospel music featuring Amazin Grace Little, 8 p.m., tickets $10.

Lucas Hamren at Infini-T Cafe – Enjoy a cup of tea in a cozy atmosphere while listening to some mellow music at the popular Hulfish Street shop. 10 p.m., free.

The Convert, McCarter Theater – World premiere of Danai Gurira’s new play set in the region that would become Zimbabwe circa 1895. Directed by Emily Mann. Berlind Theatre, 8 p.m.. Walk This Way – Join the Princeton Canal Walkers at Turning Basin Park on Alexander Road for a three-mile walk on the towpath. Bad weather cancels. 10 a.m., free.

Trenton Thunder Pre-Season Party – Visit Mrs. G TV & Appliances showroom for a pre-season party and the first opportunity to pick up Thunder mini-plans. Includes chances to win Mrs. G’s appliances and a first pitch at a Thunder game. Mini-Plan tickets available for pick-up include the Mrs. G Six Pack, The Summer Swing, The Happee Yankee, and Rivals.
