Volunteers Sought for Princeton Transition Task Force Subcommittees

The Transition Task Force created to facilitate the merger of the two Princetons is looking for volunteers to serve on several subcommittees. The task force created five subcommittees at its public meeting Wednesday and is expected to create more subcommittees in the coming weeks. The subcommittees so far are:

-personnel

-public safety

-communications and community outreach

– public works, engineering and recreation

-finance (volunteer members already full)

If you are interested in serving on one of the subcommittees in need of volunteers, please send your resume with a cover letter to either:

Linda McDermott, Township Clerk, 400 Witherspoon Street, Princeton NJ 08540
email: lmcdermott@princeton-township.nj.us

or

Delores Williams, Borough Deputy
Clerk, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton NJ 08540 email dwilliams@princetonboro.org

Please send your information no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17th. The subcommittees will not be very large (estimated to have about six members each) and officials anticipate receiving more applicants than openings. Several people already applied to serve on subcommittees during the selection process for transition task force members late last year.
