Princeton Dinky Shuttle Will Be Replaced By Bus Off-Peak Weekday Hours for Wire Work

Dinky
Beginning Monday, July 16, buses will replace all Princeton Dinky Shuttle trains between 9:20 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. weekdays so  that crews can do overhead catenary work. The project is expected to be completed by August 17.

Rail service will resume each day with the 3:25 p.m. Dinky from Princeton Junction and the 3:44 p.m. Dinky from Princeton.

Normal rail service will operate during weekday peak commuting periods. Buses will depart from locations near the rail platform, operating on or as close to the regular train schedule as possible.

When the trains are not running, NJ Transit personnel will perform necessary maintenance work on the overhead power lines, track and other components of the Princeton line.
