Call for Artists to Participate in Princeton Logo Design Competition

Arts Council of Princeton Executive Director Jeff Nathanson announced this afternoon that that Arts Council is now accepting requests for entries forms for the logo contest for the consolidated Princeton. To receive an entry form, email or call the Arts Council to express your “intent to submit an entry” by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19.

The first place prize for the winner is $500. The logo should be “symbolic in its representation of the new municipality,” officials said. The new logo design will be incorporated into letterhead, decals, website, and informational materials.

The contest for the new official logo for the united Princeton is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. The only requirement is that you must either live or work in Princeton, or be a member of the Arts Council. You do not need to have a professional background as a graphic artist to enter the contest (see our previous story on the contest here.)

Email vcoefer@artscouncilofprinceton.org or call  (609) 924-8777 to notify the Arts Council of your intent to submit entries. Entry forms will be sent only to those who email or call with an intent to submit.

Entries must be delivered to the Arts Council of Princeton by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. The entries can be hand drawn or computer generated and must be submitted as both a digital file ( as high resolution jpg file on a CD) and a hard copy, no smaller than 8 1/2” x 11” and no larger than 11”x17” (if the final
artwork is designed electronically a vector graphic will be required by the winning entrant). A completed submission form must be included with each
