The Princeton High Choir performs `The Gondoliers’ Fri. and Sat. Money from ticket sales supports the choir’s Feb. trip to Venice.

Friday, October 19

The Gondoliers,  Performance by the Princeton High School Choir – Benefit performance for the choir’s trip to Venice in February. The Gilbert and Sullivan operetta is about a young bride in Venice. 7:30 p.m., at the high school on Moore Street tickets $10.

Princeton University Glee Club and Chamber Choir Concert  – Annual football concert, conducted by Gabriel Crouch, 7:30 p.m. at Richardson Auditorium, tickets $15.

Keb’ Mo’ at  McCarter Theatre – The singer and guitarist who plays blues, jazz, rock, pop, and soul returns to McCarter. A Planet favorite! 8 p.m. Tickets $20 and up.

Navratri Raas Garba Celebration with the India Foundation of Metropolitan Princeton -Dance to live Indian music and celebrate the festival of nine nights, 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday at West Windsor Plainsboro High North. Tickets $10.

Saturday, October 20

West Windsor Community Farmers Market – The farmers market runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Vaughn Drive Parking Lot at the Princeton Junction Train Station. Jammin Crepes, other food vendors and farmers, and great crafts (if the soap lady is there, check our her cool products).

Terhune Orchards Fall Harvest Festival –  Wagon rides, corn stalk maze, adventure barn, and music. Rain or shine. Food available. Wine tasting. ‘Picture Perfect at Terhune Orchards,’ photography exhibit on display. Runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 330 Cold Soil Road. Tickets $5, children under 3 free.

Harvest Day at the Morven Museum – Crafts, pumpkin decorating, and pumpkin carving demonstration, 2-4 p.m. at 55 Stockton Street. Tickets $10 per family.

Vijay Iyer Trio at McCarter Theatre –  The jazz pianist and composer performs with a bass player and a drum player, 8 p.m., tickets $45.

`Thirteen Days’ Screening at the Princeton Public Library – Film about the Cuban Missile Crisis, 2 p.m. in the library community room, free.

Rent Party to Benefit Housing Initiatives – Third annual rent party to support Housing Initiatives’ transitional housing and supportive services program that helps lower-income working families in Princeton and neighboring communities to avoid homelessness by providing an apartment for 12-24 months, support services such as budgeting,  job search activities, and family therapy. Party highlights include a gourmet southern soul food dinner, cocktails,  live music, a crash course in swing dancing, a reading by poet Paul Muldoon, and a silent auction, of  tickets to the Heiress on Broadway, Philadelphia Eagles game tickets, dinner parties at a farm in Hopewell, a Villa in Italy, and more.
