Used Furniture or Equipment, Anyone? Public Sale at Former University Medical Center at Princeton This Weekend

A two-day public sale will be held this weekend to liquidate thousands of non-medical items from the former University Medical Center at Princeton. The hospital relocated to a new facility, University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro in May of this year. Everything must go, including furniture, file cabinets, office chairs, recliners, sleeper sofas, computers, laser printers, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, ice machines, freezers, artwork and more.

The sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the former University Medical Center at 253 Witherspoon Street. Sale hours are Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Items will be sold on a cash and carry basis only and must be removed at the time of payment.

“We have thousands of items for sale at prices that are really low,” said Erik Tivin, CEO, Centurion Service Group, LLC, the firm conducting the sale. “Our object is to clean out the building, so bring a big truck and your wallet, because it’s cash and carry and we don’t hold the merchandise.”
