Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck in Princeton for Filming of Runner, Runner Tomorrow
A few scenes for the film Runner, Runner will be shot in Princeton tomorrow, Planet Princeton has confirmed.
The thriller focuses on businessman Ivan Block, played by Ben Affleck. Block runs an offshore gambling business online. He takes in Princeton grad student Richie Furst, played by Justin Timberlake, and makes him his protégé.
Filming will take place at the Ivy Inn and in or near PJ’s Pancake House as well as on some streets in the Borough. Notices from New Regency Productions went out to some residents and business owners yesterday and today informing them that their neighborhoods would become the backdrop for the filming and that at some points during the day, no parking would be permitted on the streets.
Streets where filming could take place include University Place between Dickinson and Nassau streets, Alexander Street between College Road and Mercer Street, Vandeventer Avenue between Nassau Street and Spring Street, Nassau Street intersections between Vandeventer Avenue and University Place, and Nassua Street from Murray Place to Moore Street.
Crews could begin setting up for filming as early as 5 a.m.

I’m sure this filming event is a thrill for many Princetonians, and that’s great, but meanwhile a private company cannot prohibit residents from parking on the streets.
Meed to double check, but pretty sure they worked it out with the Borough and got permits to do this.
Pretty sure they had to go through a procedure with the Borough to get permits.
