The 51st Annual Reenactment of the Delaying Tactics of Colonel Edward Hand will be celebrated in Lawrence on Sunday. On Saturday, several Patriots’ Week events are scheduled to be held in Trenton. Lawrenceville resident Bill Agress (l) will play Colonel Hand again.

Coalition For Peace Action Benefit with Julie Nixon and David Ylviskaer – `Make Magic Together’ benefit concert for the coalition at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 50 Cherry Hill Road in Princeton, 7:30 p.m., tickets $25, includes post-concert reception.

A Christmas Carol, McCarter Theatre – Holiday classic by Charles Dickens, 7:30 p.m., tickets $20 and up. Last night of the 2012 show!

Battle of Trenton Reenactment  – The Patriots’ Week Celebration in Trenton continues with the  First Battle of Trenton at 11 a.m., the Second Battle of Trenton at 3 p.m., and the Colonial Dinner at 5:30 p.m. For a full schedule of Patriots’ Week events and more information visit www.patriotsweek.com.

Morven Festival of Trees – Morven’s Festival of Trees has become a must-see Princeton holiday tradition. Enjoy the museum’s elegant thirteen galleries decorated for the holidays and adorned with trees artfully decorated by local businesses, garden clubs, and non-profit organizations. This year’s exhibitors include:  D & R Greenway Land Trust, The Dogwood Garden Club of Princeton, The Garden Club of Princeton, The Contemporary Garden Club, Keris Tree Farm & Christmas Shop, McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton Doll & Toy Museum, Vicki Trainer, Stony Brook – Millstone Watershed Association, Barbara L. Mulea, Montville/Valhalla Garden Club, Luxaby Lily, Princeton University Art Museum, Stony Brook Garden Club, and M.I. Hummel Company. Morven is open Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., at 55 Stockton Street in downtown Princeton.  (Note: During Festival of Trees in December and early January, no formal tours are given, but docents are available to answer questions.) Admission $6 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, children 6 and under free.

Laser Nutcracker Spectacular at the New Jersey State Museum Planetarium – A show the kids are sure to love at the museum planetarium, which is located in Trenton at 205 West State Street. Admission $7. Performances at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

iPad 101 Class at the Princeton Public Library– For those with a new iPad this class, taught by Mac specialist Caitlin Trought, covers what the device can do, its basic operation, and some fun apps. 1 p.m. in the library tech center, free.

51st Annual Reenactment of the Delaying Tactics of Colonel Edward Hand – March to Trenton (or part way, or don’t march at all and just send the troops off or welcome them to Trenton). Program begins at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence Municipal Court House on Route 206. Celebration with refreshments at the Mill Hill Playhouse when marchers arrive in Trenton. Marchers will receive a ride back from Trenton. Free. (Note: This event was rescheduled from Sat. due to potential Sat. storm).

Sunday Stories at the Princeton Public Library – Stories, songs and rhymes for children 2-8 years of age and their families. Adults must accompany all children. 3:30 p.m. in the library story room, free.

Einstein Alley Musician’s Collaborative Winter Holiday Concert – Benefit for New Jersey school children displaced by Hurricane Sandy. Potluck, children’s activities, sing alongs, more. At the Princeton Elks Lodge, 354 Route 518, Blawenburg, 2 p.m. Admission $10, $25 max per family.
