County Executive Brian Hughes said he is thrilled that Frontier is continuing to expand its nonstop service to and from Trenton-Mercer Airport. “With 10 destinations to different parts of the country, Frontier offers people in and around Mercer County convenient and affordable travel opportunities that they’ve never had before. This is an exciting time for TTN and for our region,” Hughes said.

Streamline Airlines previously offered weekday service from Trenton-Mercer to Boston, but stopped in September. The airline began serving the Trenton-Mercer Airport in 2011, and primarily catered to business travelers, while Frontier Airlines has its sights set on the tourism traveler.

  1. This seems like totally good news! The only thing I would say is that I had a look at some prices, and they weren’t all that cheap.
