SarahHunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns held a press conference in Lambertville just after 3:30 p.m. today begging anyone who has information about the disappearance of resident Sarah Majoras to come forward.

“Our plea to the public now is if anyone has any information regarding where Sarah Majoras may be or if anyone was in the area, we’re asking them to come forward and tell us if they saw anything, heard anything, if they know of anyone who may have given Sarah a ride, etc.,” Kearns said. “The public has been coming forward with some information and we’re gathering that information, making an assessment of that information, and using it as we go forward.”

All leads will be considered, Kearns said.  Anyone who has seen or heard anything that may be of interest to law enforcement officials should contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office through Hunterdon County Communications at (908) 284-6162.

The prosecutor’s office continues to treat this as a missing person’s case and its an active investigation.
“While we have no substantial evidence of foul play, our minds remain open, we are looking at all possibilities, and we continue to pursue any information we can in an attempt to make sense of what might have happened.”

Rumors are circulating that one of Majoras’ boots was found along the canal today, but this has not been confirmed. Yesterday rumor spread that her eyeglasses had been found, but they turned out not to be hers.
