East Windsor Police: Stranger Approached Girl in Suspicious Incident

A 13-year-old girl said she was approached by an adult male in the parking lot of Twin Rivers Drive North, police reported this afternoon. The girl said that the male exited a vehicle and approached to within approximately 15 to 20 feet, attempted to engage her in conversation and asked her to approach his vehicle. The girl told police that she declined and the male followed behind her for approximately 10 seconds. When she picked up her cell phone, he walked away from her, she said.

The male is described as white, in his 20s or 30s, wearing a yellow shirt or jacket. He may have had black hair and some type of facial hair and glasses. He was further described as having a thin build and the girl estimated he is about 6-feet tall. The vehicle that the girl reported seeing him exit was a small, black, 4-door vehicle. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call (609) 448-5678, ext. 242.
