Seventeen students at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart had their ponytails cut off Monday in order to help children in need. The students participated in Locks of Love, a program that provides custom wigs to financially disadvantaged children who suffer from long-term hair loss because of chronic medical conditions. This year was the 13th year that Stuart, an all-girls school in Princeton, has participated in the program. The school has donated more than 240 ponytails to the program that promotes self-confidence in children who suffer from hair loss.
