Princeton Police Officers Save Woman’s Life

Princeton police officers successfully administered CPR and a life-saving electric shock to a woman at a local restaurant on Friday night.

Officers were dispatched to Mediterra Restaurant just before 7 p.m. Officers Steve Lattin, Michael Schubert, and Marla Montague arrived on scene and were led to a woman who was sprawled on the floor. She was unresponsive, blue in the face, and did not have a pulse. Lattin and Schubert began CPR as Montague applied two shocks to the woman. Her pulse and breathing were restored.

The Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad arrived on scene and took over care for the woman. Capital Health Paramedics also arrived on scene. The woman was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro for further treatment.
