A police officer observed a Princeton resident urinating on the sidewalk on Witherspoon Street near Lytle Street just after 3 a.m. on April 28. James Kornegay, 28, was stopped by police, who discovered he also had an outstanding criminal warrant out of Princeton Municipal Court for $274. Kornegay was placed under arrest and later released.

A Cranbury resident tried to enter a bar on the 200 block of Nassau Street just before 2 a.m. on April 28 using fake identification, police said. Rebecca Harvey, 20, allegedly presented a falsified Pennsylvania drivers license to the doorman in an attempt to gain entry to the bar but was turned away, police said. She was charged with tampering with public records and misrepresenting her age to induce the sale of alcohol to a minor.

While investigating a one-car crash on Route 206 near Hutchinson Drive just before 5 a.m. on April 27, police determined that the driver, Amy Guinn, 32, of Hamilton Township, had consumed alcoholic beverages and then operated her vehicle. Guinn was placed under arrest and was later released to a friend. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and failure to report a motor vehicle accident.

A Giant bicycled valued at $1,300 was stolen from the first block of Hulfish Street some time overnight on April 26, police said. The victim reported to police that his bicycle, which had been locked to a light pole on Hulfish Street, was gone when he went to retrieve it the morning of April 27.

A resident who lives on the 200 block of Library Place called police on April 26 to report that overnight on April 23, someone removed a garbage cart from the property. The cart is worth about $150, police said.

A Hillsborough resident was charged with shoplifting from a business on the 800 block of State Road on April 26. A 38-year-old woman was charged with one count of shoplifting more than $200 worth of merchandise. She was issued a summons and released.

The owner of a business located on the 200 block of Nassau Street reported that sometime between 10 p.m. on April 24 and 6:15 a.m. April 25, someone broke a window and gained entry to the business. The business owner discovered the broken window April 25 and found that $100 was missing from the cash box inside the store, police said.

A car window was smashed at Turning Basin Park on the afternoon of April 24. The owner of the car called the police to report that upon returning to the vehicle after using the park, the owner observed that the driver’s side rear window had been smashed. There was no indication that anything was taken from the inside of the vehicle, police said.
