Princeton School Board Seeks Input for Superintendent Search

The Princeton Public Schools Board of Education is seeking the community’s feedback about the skills and characteristics the new superintendent of schools should possess. The board is conducting an online survey and will hold two public forums on the issue.

Forums will be held May 21 at 4 p.m. and May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Princeton Public Schools administration offices at 25 Valley Road.

The online survey will be available until May 23.

“In a town that values strong public education, few decisions are as important as the selection of a superintendent of schools. While the board of education has the ultimate responsibility for naming a superintendent, we ask everyone in Princeton to help us with this crucial decision,” wrote Board President Tim Quinn in a letter about the search. “Everyone in Princeton benefits from excellent public education, regardless of whether or not they have a student currently attending one of our schools. It is in the spirit of advancing a common good that we ask the community’s assistance in the search process.”
