Letters: Thanks to Community Night Out Attendees

Princeton Community Night OutOn behalf of the Princeton Recreation Department Staff and our teammates from the Princeton Police Department, I would like to thank the entire Princeton community for joining us at Community Park Pool for Community Night Out on August 6, 2013.  This event, more than most, offers an important opportunity for community members to gather in an informal fashion to meet new neighbors, chat with old friends, learn about what’s happening in their community, have an evening out with their families and to have fun!

The Princeton Recreation Department is proud to be able to offer family-friendly events that bring people together in different settings, all from within the reach of the recreation umbrella.

Community Night Out would not be possible without the participation of many local agencies, organizations and small businesses, including: Princeton Police Department, Corner House, The Arts Council of Princeton, Princeton Human Services, Princeton Girl Scouts, Princeton First-Aid & Rescue Squad, Princeton HealthCare System, Princeton University, Womanspace, Princeton YMCA & YWCA, Princeton Tennis Program, Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center, Princeton Junior Football, Not In Our Town, Mercer County Prosecutors Office, Mercer County K-9 Unit, League of Women Voters, Hi-Tops, Origins Princeton, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Joe’s Ice Cream, DJ Darius Young and Cross Culture Restaurant.

Most importantly, thanks to the Princeton community for choosing to spend the evening with us for Community Night Out 2013. I look forward to seeing everyone next summer, on Tuesday August 5th, for Community Night Out 2014.
