Pulitzer Prize-winning author and investigative journalist Carl Bernstein will speak at Rider University on Wednesday, September 11.

Bernstein and colleague Bob Woodward broke the story about the Watergate scandal while working at the Washington Post. Their investigative work led to numerous government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon.

His presentation at Rider is titled “The Impact of Terrorism in a Post 9/11 Media World: Can Journalists Still Deliver The Best Obtainable Version of the Truth?”

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. in the Bart Luedeke Center Theater, located on Rider’s Lawrenceville campus.  The event is free and open to the public.

Bernstein is visiting the school as part of Rider University’s 9/11 commemoration and Constitution Day observance.
