Volunteers Still Needed for Princeton Half Marathon on Nov. 3

trafficmarshalPrinceton Half Marathon organizers are still seeking volunteers to serve as traffic marshals during the race on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Traffic marshals work in conjunction with the police to provide direction and information to vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians  along the course. Being placed at minor intersections, traffic marshals play a vital role for the event, and ensure that runners can safely follow the course with the least possible interruptions from traffic.

This volunteer position involves attending a mandatory training session on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the main meeting room at the Princeton municipal building at 400 Witherspoon Street. If you already attended a training session with the police Wednesday night, you do not need to attend the Saturday session.
