Man Assaulted with Baseball Bat in Downtown Princeton
Just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday night, a man who was walking near a cemetery in the rear of St. Paul’s Church at 214 Nassau Street reported that he was assaulted with a baseball bat by two men.
The victim reported to police that one person grabbed him from behind and the second person struck him in the leg and the arm. The victim sustained injuries to his right forearm and a laceration to his left leg. The victim reported that he pleaded with the suspects to stop the attack, and then he walked back to Nassau Street, where he asked someone to call police.
The suspects were described as light complexioned males wearing ski masks.
Princeton University’s public safety department was told about the incident and the university issued an alert to students and staff. The Princeton Police Department has not issued a press release or alert to the general town community on the incident yet.
The only solution is good guys with baseball bats
