Kim Pimley Chosen to Lead Princeton HealthCare System Board

The Princeton Healthcare System Board of Trustees has chosen Kim Pimley to lead the board. Previously Pimley served as the  head of Princeton Healthcare’s Foundation board. Gerard Compito has been named as Pimley’s replacement to lead the foundation.

Pimley, a Princeton resident who served as chair of the foundation board from 2010 to 2013,  joined Princeton HealthCare’s board of trustees in 2010. She is the co-founder of Pimley & Pimley Inc., a leading provider of credit training and corporate finance programs, and is also the president of P&P Training Resources Inc. Pimley serves on the executive council of the American Jewish Committee as chair of national leadership development and on the board of McCarter Theatre. 

She previously served as president of the Jewish Center of Princeton and on the boards of The Pennington School and Opera Festival of New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at Emory University.

She replaces Donald Hofmann, who served on the board since 2002. Hofmann, a founding partner of Alston Capital Partners, lives in West Windsor.

•     Princeton resident Steven Kahn, a board certified surgeon who has been a member of the Princeton HealthCare Medical Staff since 1975
•     West Windsor resident Ram Kolluri, founder, president, CEO and CIO of Global Investment Management Inc.
•     Princeton resident Elwood Phares II, chairman and president of West Chemical Products Inc.
•     Retiring Rider University President Mordechai Rozanski
•     Princeton Junction resident Michael Ruddy, chief of nephrology in the Princeton HealthCare Department of Medicine
•     Former Princeton University President and Princeton resident Harold T. Shapiro

The board also welcomed several new members:

•      Princeton resident Paul von Autenried,  senior vice president of Enterprise Services and CIO of Bristol-Myers Squibb
•      Princeton resident Robert Doll Jr., chief equity strategist and senior portfolio manager at Nuveen Asset Management
•      Princeton resident James Dominick, vice president for information technology and CIO of Princeton University
•      Princeton resident Kenneth Goldman, a Princeton HealthCare medical staff member who is board certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery
•      Maria Juega, a longtime resident of Mercer County and executive director of the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund
•      Princeton resident Mark Pollard, managing director of wealth management at Merrill Lynch
•      Princeton resident Jesse Treu, a  founding partner of Domain Associates LLC, a venture capital firm focusing on investments in the life sciences sector

The Princeton HealthCare Board of Trustees governs Princeton HealthCare, which includes the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, Princeton House Behavioral Health, Princeton Rehabilitation, Princeton HomeCare, the Princeton Medicine primary and specialty care practice, and ambulatory surgery centers in Plainsboro and Monroe.

The Princeton HealthCare Foundation Board of Directors manages the Princeton HealthCare Foundation, which financially supports and promotes the mission of Princeton HealthCare. 

The new Princeton HealthCare Foundation Board Chairman, Gerard Compito, is a resident of Skillman. He is board certified in neuroradiology and diagnostic radiology, is a member of Princeton Radiology, an attending physician at the University Medical Center, past president of the Princeton HealthCare medical staff, and a former Princeton HealthCare trustee. 

A Columbia University graduate, he earned his medical degree from State University of New York—Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. While completing a fellowship in neuroradiology at New York Presbyterian Medical Center, he served as an attending radiologist at Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, N.Y., and as a staff radiologist for the United Nations.

In addition to welcoming its new chairman, the foundation named three new directors:

•    Pennington resident Rachel Dultz, medical director of the University Medical Center Breast Health Center
•    Princeton resident W. Thomas Gutowski, chief of orthopedic surgery at Princeton HealthCare
•    Princeton resident Norman Klath, who retired as managing director of Global Research with J.P. Morgan

•    Princeton resident Robert Wedeking, chief investment officer of Geller Family Office Services
•    Princeton resident Peter Yi, a triple board certified physician in hematology, internal medicine and medical oncology
