Amazon Accepting Job Applications for Robbinsville Warehouse

amazonAmazon.com is accepting applications for “order fulfillment workers” who will pack and ship customer orders, and the company has posted several other job openings for the new Robbinsville warehouse that is slated to open some time this summer.

A dozen jobs are listed on the Amazon website (enter Robbinsville int he search location box), including positions for managers, technicians and administrative assistants.

Candidates for the fulfillment positions must be 18 or older, hold a high school diploma, be able to read and take directions in English, and stand or walk for up to 12 hours. Intensive physical activity is  part of the work. Temperatures in the warehouse can range from 60 degrees to 90 or above. The fulfillment positions can be applied for on the Mercer County website. Amazon.com will begin conducting interviews in the coming weeks.

The 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse is expected to employ 1,400 people full-time.  The warehouse, which is under construction, is located at the Matrix Business Park at Exit 7A of the New Jersey Turnpike.

Mercer County officials are working with the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association to provide public transportation to the park from several major bus routes, County Executive Brian Hughes said.

  1. I’m waiting to see if this location will hire drivers for their deliveries or are they strictly still using Lasership contractors as their main force for regional couriers?

  2. they have an actual address, but if you google map it,

look at the intersection of Old York Road & Montgomery Drive…

then, you’ll see them off of John Henry Drive

off of exit 8 from I-195
