Friday, July 25

Morven Antique Car Exhibit – Tke a peek into the past and view an amazing array of antique cars that will be on display in Morven’s parking lot. A wonderful collection of Brass era automobiles will be in town for The Horseless Carriage Club of America’s “A Devil of a Time in New Jersey” tour, hosted by the club’s Northern New Jersey regional group.
 
The cars will be on display from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the Horseless Carriage Club of America will be available from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to talk about their cars and answer questions.

Farm Fresh Market at Forrestal Village – Veggies, fruit, meat, eggs, bread, cheese, baked goods, and specialty foods at Forrestal Village, just off Route 1 south in Plainsboro. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dancing Under the Stars at Hinds Plaza – Members of Central Jersey Dance give demonstrations and lead others in an evening of dancing.  Continues twice monthly through September. Hinds Plaza, weather permitting; or Community Room Co-sponsored by the library and Central Jersey Dance. 7 to 10 p.m. Free.

Tina and Friends Rock the Vines at Unionville Vineyards –  Live music and open mic. Songstress Tina Margot brings a cast of talented regional performers to Unionville to play a night of covers and originals. She invites all local musicians to bring their instruments and sign up for a spot during the open mic portion of the evening. 
The show goes from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Wine by the glass, bottle, and tastings available. Artisan cheeses, crackers, chocolates, meats and nuts are available, you are welcome to bring your own snacks or dinner as well!
 There is no cover to attend
Seussical the Musical – Head over to the Washington Crossing Open Air Theater for a night of family fun. Musical. Blankets, seat cushions, a flashlight, and insect repellent recommended. Snack bar. The musical is also being performed Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. 355 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville. . Admission $15.

Saturday Stories at the Princeton Public Library -Stories, songs and rhymes for children 2-8 years of age and their families. Adults must accompany their children. 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the story room. Free.

Insight Meditation Open House at Princeton Center for Yoga & Health – Sitting and walking meditation and mindfulness with James Pritchett and Martha Elliot. Orchard Hill Center, 88 Orchard Road, Skillman. 
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Free.

Summer Music Series at Palmer Square –The Kootz band in concert on the green. Bring your own lawn chair and picnic. 2 to 4 p.m. Free.

Hayrides at the Howell Living History Farm –The evening hayride lasts 20 minutes, carrying visitors over the lanes of the 130 acre working farm. During the program, visitors can also take self-guided tours, picnic in the picnic area and join a marshmallow roast. Rides will leave the barnyard area every 25 minutes beginning at 5:10, with the last ride departing at 8:00. Rides will be given on a first come, first serve basis to the first 200 visitors. 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 70 Wooden’s Lane, Lambertville. Free.

The Dukes of Destiny Perform the Blues – Free performance is part of the West Windsor Arts Council’s the Beat Goes On Music Series. Nassau Park Pavilion between Target and Panera Bread, West Windsor. 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners.

Musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”  – Enjoy the musical comedy based on the 1988 film at the Off-Broadstreet Theater, 5 South Greenwood Avenue, Hopewell. 7:30 p.m. Tickets $29.50 and up,  includes dessert.

Cafe Improv – Music, poetry, and more at the Arts Council of Princeton. 7 to 10 p.m. Admission $2, $1 for students, seniors and Arts Council members.

Contra Dance with the Princeton Country Dancers – Instruction followed by dance. Bob Isaacs with the Pickup Band led by Princeton’s own Pat Palmer. Suzanne Patterson Center, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission $10.

Little Red Riding Hood – Join Little Red Riding Hood on her journey to Granny’s house. Along the way she meets some of your favorite fairy tale characters all while escaping the Big Bad Wolf.
