libraryThe Princeton Public Library has received a $25,000 donation from NRG Energy that will be directed to the library’s stewardship fund. The fund is an endowment that provides money for building upgrades that allow the library to operate in a more environmentally sustainable manner.

The library is seeking to reduce energy consumption and costs and to become a model of best sustainability practices for the community and other libraries. Representatives from NRG have helped provide guidance.
