Native Plant Sale at the D&R Greenway Land Trust – Stop by the  Johnson Education Center for their plant sale from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Quart and gallon-sized pots, $5 to $12.1 Preservation Place (off Rosedale Road), Princeton.

Gallery Talk at the Princeton University Art Museum – Museum docent Owen Leach give the talk “Alfred Bierstadt, When American Painters Were Superstars.” 12:30 p.m. Free.

Corn Maze at the Howell Living History Farm – New Jersey’s longest running corn maze at the Howell Living History Farm. 17 Valley Road, Lambertville. Admission $10 for adults, $8 for children, 4 and under free.  Friday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday noon to 8 p.m.;  Sunday noon to 4 p.m.

Giant Kids Used Clothing and Toy Sale – More than 100 families will be selling children’s clothing, maternity clothing, baby equipment, s, toys, books,and more to raise money for the school’s PTO. 8 a.m. to noon. Lawrenceville Elementary School, 40 Craven Lane, Lawrence.

Corn Harvest at the Howell Living History Farm – Help farmers harvest corn in the fields, shell and grind corn, and make cornbread in the farmhouse kitchen. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 70 Wooden’s Lane, Lambertville. Free.

Unionville Vineyards Fall Harvest Festival – Enjoy an afternoon in beautiful Hunterdon County. Go on a vineyard walk with the winemaker, take a winery tour, taste wines, listen to live music, attend talks by leaders in the local food industry, and more. Princeton Youth Ballet Fall Festival Fundraiser – Visit the Princeton Dance and Theater Studio at Forrestal Village from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for face painting, Halloween-themed crafts and games, an hour-long dance party, silent auction and more. Free.

Strictly Ballroom – Join the Central Jersey Dance Society for their Ballroom Blitz at the Unitarian Church in Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road. Waltz lesson followed by open dancing. No partner needed. 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Admission $12.

Princeton University Concert Jazz Ensemble  – The jazz ensemble will be conducted by Dr. Anthony D.J. Branker. Grammy-Award winning alto saxophonist and guest soloist Mark Gross plus The Mark Gross Quintet featuring trumpeter Freddie Hendrix, pianist Benito Gonzalez, bassist John Lee, and drummer Corey Rawls. 8 p.m. Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, Princeton University. Pancake Breakfast at the Princeton Junction Fire Company – Pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea,  juice and more. Proceeds support the fire company.  8 .am. to noon. 245 Clarksville Road, West Windsor. $5 per person.

Fall Harvest Festival at Terhune Orchards – Corn stalk maze, adventure barn, pumpkin painting, pick your own apples and pumpkins, food tents, live music, wine tasting and more. Rain or shine. Harlem Wizards vs. the Princeton Education Foundation All-Stars – The Harlem Wizards will show off their basketball tricks and play ball with a group of public school teachers at Princeton High School. 2 p.m. High school gym. Admission $15. Proceeds go to mini-grants for teachers.

Sarah Donner CD Release Tour – Funky, cat-loving Princeton artist Sarah Donner performs with and Marian Call at the Arts Council of Princeton. 7 p.m. 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton. Admission $12. $22 includes a copy of Sarah’s new CD, “That is a Pegasus.”
