The governing body of Princeton has scheduled a special meeting for tonight at 7 p.m. with Princeton University President Chris Eisgruber. The meeting will take place in the main meeting room at the former Princeton Borough Hall, which is located at 1 Monument Drive.

A public comment period will be held before Eisgruber speaks and then answers questions from the council.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss recent developments on campus and in the community, and areas of shared interest and concern.

At Princeton Club events in recent months, Eisgruber has been urging alumni to consider expanding the size of the freshman class.

This will be the second time Eisgruber will address the Princeton Council. He met with the governing body for the first time last December.

Eisgruber was named Princeton University’s 20th president in April of 2013.
