Princeton Today: Rain to Snow

Thanksgiving forecast Princeton

Rain is  moving into the region from south to north this morning. The higher terrain in the Poconos and northwest New Jersey will be the first to see a change over to snow. Areas east and south of the Interstate 95 corridor may not see the change to a rain snow mix until mid day or later, according to the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly.

The Princeton area is expected to receive between one and three inches of snow between this afternoon and tomorrow. The northwestern portion of Mercer county, Hunterdon and Somerset counties are expected to receive between 3 and 5 inches of snow.

Due to the weather and the increased volume of vehicles traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend, leave extra time for your trip and slow down.

The event raises money for area charities. You can register on site for $40. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. As of now, the race is on.
