Hamilton Jewelers donated $7,791 last week to HomeFront, the Mercer County non-profit that works to end homelessness.

“We are proud to support such an important and worthwhile organization in Mercer County,” says Hamilton Jewelers President Hank B. Siegel. “My grandfather started our company in downtown Trenton over 100 years ago, and it’s important to my family that we always support this community. We believe strongly in assisting local groups, particularly organizations that help families in need.”

HomeFront helps families become self-sufficient through such efforts as providing emergency housing, food, free clothing and household goods, affordable housing searches, job placement and readiness skills.

Hamilton Jewelers hosted a special event in partnership with international designer David Yurman on November 6th at their downtown Princeton location and a portion of proceeds from the sales during evening was reserved for a donation to HomeFront. The check to HomeFront was presented by Hank and Lisette Siegel to Connie Mercer, founder of HomeFront, at the agency’s Trenton office.
