A Princeton University student was found dead in her campus dorm room this morning.

Audrey Dantzlerward of the class of 2016 was 22.  The cause of her death is yet to be determined, but no foul play is suspected, Princeton University officials said in a news release on the school’s website.

Dantzlerward was a member of the Wildcats a cappella group, the Princeton Women’s Mentorship Program, Princeton Presbyterians, and Edwards Collective, a residential community that celebrates the humanities and creative arts.

A gathering to remember Dantzlerward will be held from 7:30 p.m. tonight, Jan. 12, in Murray Dodge Hall.

Oh no, there’s never any foul play at PU, couldn’t happen, in fact we’re not sure she’s dead.

      1. I do respect her death, but would rather be able to celebrate her life, and in the same sense “Black Lives Matter” infers that White lives do not, your statement about her age is irrelevant to the importance of her life.

Let us hope PU shows her enough respect to do a thorough investigation rather than the typical “nothing to see here” routine, which they appear to have already set in motion.

        1. 1. Please, show some respect. This is not the place for political rantings. I’m sure the University will do a thorough investigation.
          2. You meant “implies,” not “infers”; and #BlackLivesMatter implies nothing about white lives. That’s an inference that *you* are drawing, incorrectly.

Peace and condolences to this young woman’s family and friends.

          1. This is not a memorial service, it is as close as Princeton will ever get to a newspaper. Please adjust your expectations. Or am I to be shot for speaking outside your comfort zone?

Thank you for correcting my grammar, stop there. When you escape the bubble of Princeton you may discover there are many people who see the world differently than you.

What would ever cause you to believe PU will conduct a thorough investigation? When the rate of Meningitis infection was one hundred thirty times the national average and the CDC petitioned the FDA to allow an unapproved (in the States) vaccine, PU tried to hush it up. When the rape culture is celebrated in eating halls PU turns a blind eye.

This young woman will find peace when her death is properly investigated, which might actually lead to another death being prevented, so we will not need to give condolence to yet anther family.

            1. The young woman will find peace when her death is properly investigated… and you know this how?? Have you spoken to her since her passing?

        1. Blake, like you, I am not one to shy away from controversy online. But I am begging you to stop! Please!

        2. Blake, please respect the family and don’t antagonize in this forum. We can all read between the lines to figure out what happened in this case. The university is trying to be respectful. -Krystal (the moderator)

      1. So sorry for your loss. I apologize for the commenter also. Your sister was loved by many on campus and in the community. She worked to build bridges between people.

      2. I pray that you and your family find peace and comfort in your memories of your sister. I hope that you hope to be reunited with her in Gods kingdom. May God bless you all. I recommend http://www.ucg.org. you may find the resources at tbis site helpful. BR
