Princeton Today: Cookie Carrell

Today is Dean’s Date at Princeton University, which is the deadline for students to submit written work for the semester. Reading period began Jan. 5 and exam period ends Jan. 24.

Some students have been lightening the mood over at Firestone Library with Cookie Carrel. A team of bakers operating out of a third floor carrell and has been supplying study break goodies to stressed students for a small fee. They have been advertising their service on Twitter: @cookiecarrel.

Yesterday as students learned of the death of an undergraduate, the group gave out free cookies, and free hugs. More details in  The Ink blog post.
