Princeton Seminary to Host Fall Community Festival Sept. 26

seminaryPrinceton Theological Seminary will host a family-friendly community festival on Saturday, Sept.  26, from noon to 4 p.m. on the quad of the main campus, which is located at 64 Mercer Street in downtown Princeton. The event will be held rain or shine.

The festival will feature live music, activities for kids, tours of the campus, food trucks, and more. The Feed Truck, Surf and Turf Truck, the Terra Learning Kitchen, and vendors will sell food.

Visitors can learn about the “Farminary” at Princeton Seminary, a new project that connects seminary education with small-scale sustainable agriculture. The public can also participate in a music workshop, take a tour of Princeton Seminary’s campus, or participate in a worship service led by seminary president Craig Barnes prior the festival at 11 a.m. in Miller Chapel.

“We want Princeton Seminary to be known as a place of welcome and hospitality, and we are excited to open our doors and share our campus with the community at this fun fall event,” said Anne Stewart, director of external relations. “We hope kids and adults of all ages will join us for music, for fun, for learning — or even just a tour of our campus.”
