Princeton High Evacuated After Bomb Threat (Updated)

PHSStudents and faculty at Princeton High School were allowed to return to the school at about 1:45 p.m. today after police searched the school for a bomb, and that determined the school was safe and a threat phoned into the school was bogus.

The main office at Princeton High School received a telephone call just after 11 a.m. this morning reporting that there was a bomb in the school building.  The caller used an automated voice similar to recent bogus threats in Princeton and other towns around the state.

The Princeton Police Department evacuated the high school, and the students and faculty were temporarily relocated so the school building could be searched.  K-9 explosive-sniffing dogs and their handlers then searched the building.
