Princeton University Student Charged with Criminal Sexual Contact in Halloween Dorm Incident

A Princeton University student has been charged with burglary and criminal sexual contact in a Halloween incident in a dorm on the Princeton University campus.

Early in the morning on Oct. 31, a female student called the Princeton University Department of Public Safety to report that an unknown person entered her room in 1915 Hall. She said she woke up when she felt someone touching her and found a male student beside her in bed. The suspect fled after she screamed.

The 19-year-old male student was charged with one count of third-degree burglary and one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. He was released on his own recognizance pending court proceedings. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Princeton Municipal Court on Nov. 23.
