Three $50K Powerball Tickets Sold in Central New Jersey

Three people from California, Florida and Tennessee split the record-breaking Powerball lottery jackpot on Jan. 13. Dozens of New Jersey Lottery ticket holders won prizes smaller, including two $1 million second prizes for matching five white balls. One of the two added the Powerplay multiplier,  making that ticket worth $2 million.

The $2 million ticket was purchased at a WAWA in Westampton in Burlington County.  The $1 million ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Jamesburg.

There were 46 New Jersey winners with tickets that matched four white balls. They will each receive $50,000. In Mercer County a ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the ShopRite on Route 1 in Lawrence. Another ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Plainsboro Wine & Liquor on Schalks Crossing Road in Plainsboro. A ticket worth $50,000 was also sold at the 7-Eleven on Route 206 south in Hillsborough.

The winning numbers Wednesday night were 04, 08, 19, 27 and 34. The Red  Power Ball number was 10. The Multiplier number was 02. The final jackpot reached $1.58 billion, with a cash value of $983.5 million. Each winning ticket holder will receive an estimated $528.8 million.
