  1. Interesting that a chain store has closed – I have watched this store wondering about its market here. Will there be another high end chain store? Are high rents responsible for the closings?

    1. I went into the store twice, and both times I was amazed anyone would ever buy something there. It was outrageously priced and not particularly unique or attractive. Certainly the rent might have been high, but that doesn’t explain why literally there were never any people inside. Bad concept.

  2. maybe if all day meter feeding was not a wink, wink, nod, nod accepted way of life for shop keepers and staff, people would be able to visit some of these stores

    1. Most of the target consumers live on campus across the street. I don’t see how meter feeding is that relevant here.

  3. A search shows the Yale and Georgetown stores have closed in the last few months and the company reported a loss last year. Sounds unrelated to Princeton. Just a business in trouble everywhere.

  4. Jordan’s at Princeton Shopping Center is also closing. Not their choice. Sad …..
