The student eating clubs at Princeton University will be hosting the third annual Food Truck Festival from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.

Trucks will be lined up all along Prospect Avenue, and there will be live music.

This year’s truck lineup includes The Feed Truck, Fork in the Road, Zinna’s Mobile Bistro, Nina’s Waffles, Kona Ice, Try Vegan, My Four Suns Korean Fusion, Maddalena’s Cheesecake Co, the Princeton University Food Truck, Ma & Pa’s Tex-Mex BBQ, and Bombay Local Pizza.

More than 15 local food trucks will be participating this year, and proceeds from the event will go to Meals on Wheels of Mercer County and Send Hunger Packing Princeton. Last year, TruckFest donated more than $24,000 to local charities.

Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to people who are homebound. Send Hunger Packing is a partnership between Mercer Street Friends and Princeton Public Schools that provides school children from lower income families with the nutrition they need on the weekends to be able to do their best in school.

Princeton TruckFest is a collaboration between all eleven of Princeton’s eating clubs, spearheaded by the clubs’ community service chairs, who have been planning the event all year.

Event sponsors include the Princeton Prospect Foundation, Princeton University Campus Life, the PACE Center for Civic Engagement, the Princeton Undergraduate Student Government, the Princeton Graduate Student Government, the Motley Fool, edWeb.net, Worldwide Learning Services, Central Jersey Dance, Smacktive, and Landau’s.
