Harpsichord Recital by Kevin Komisaruk  – Toronto-based harpsichordist Kevin Komisaruk will visit the Princeton Early Keyboard Center this week and play a recital. The program will include music of Frescobaldi, Couperin, Scarlatti, Bach, and Duphly, played on two contrasting instruments, in the German and Italian styles. Kevin is a New Jersey native. He grew up in Maplewood, and took organ lessons with Gavin Black at Westminster Conservatory in the late ’80s. He has been an associate professor of organ and harpsichord at The University of Toronto since 2003. He has performed throughout the world, and recorded organ music of Samuel Scheidt and John Bull. 7 p.m., Christ Congregation Church, 50 Walnut Lane, Princeton. Free. More information

Trinity Rummage Preview Sale – Friday night, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., is a preview sale for antiques and collectibles, books, jewelry, ladies and men’s better clothing, linens, and ladies accessories (entitled “This and That”). Two hundred Friday night preview tickets will be sold beginning at 1pm, at the Trinity Church parish reception desk, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton. $10.

Frog Slog Night Hike – Discover the secret life of frogs on a special late night hike with Stonybrook-Milstone Education Director Jeff Hoagland at the soggy and sonic Wargo pond on the Watershed Nature Reserve. Come with sharp ears and eyes, as well as a flashlight. Boots are necessary; be prepared for wet and muddy walking conditions. Meet  at 261 Wargo Road. Spring Rummage at Trinity Princeton 

The 46th Annual Spring Rummage Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Trinity rummage sale is a popular community event that offers a variety of items for sale from antiques and collectibles, books, jewelry, ladies and men’s better clothing, linens, and ladies accessories to luggage, sports equipment, family clothing, housewares, and toys. Lunch will also be sold. Mastercard and Visa will be accepted. On Saturday, free, but numbered, entry tickets will be distributed at the Mercer Street, Pierce-Bishop Hall entrance, beginning at 7 a.m.  Proceeds benefit Trinity Outreach and its non-profit partner programs locally and internationally. 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. , Trinity Church Princeton, 33 Mercer St, Princeton. Spring Rummage Sale at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart – Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart will host a spring rummage sale sponsored by the Princeton Academy Parents Association. Poetry in Motion 5K Run/Walk & Fitness Fair –  A family-friendly race is for everyone! Walk or run Stuart’s USA Track & Field certified 5K course or 1-mile fun run and then enjoy a fitness fair that is focused on young women’s sports and fitness. Child care is available. kitedayKite Day at Terhune Orchards  – Bring your own kite, choose a ready-made kite from the farm store, 0r make a “guaranteed to fly” kite.  Whichever you choose, test-fly your kite in Terhune Orchards’ wide-open 10-acre pasture with all the farm animals looking on. The farm will ring with country music and entertainment all weekend. The whole family can tour the orchards and fields while riding in a tractor-drawn farm wagon. Special activities and games for children in the barnyard.  Food will be for sale, including apples, cider, donuts, pies, country chili, hot dogs, grilled asparagus, salads, soup and all kinds of cookies and goodies. Darts for Dreams 11  – Annual dart-a-thon hosted by the Greater Trenton Dart League to raise money for Make A Wish New Jersey.  All proceeds from the event go to support efforts in Mercer County.  There’s a $10 donation at the door, and just $5 to throw some darts.  Prizes every hour, plus a youth event throughout the day. 12 p.m., Cook Athletic Association, 411 Hobart Ave, Hamilton. $10. From Sacred to Secular: Benefit Concert  – Christopher McWilliams will present a benefit concert, “From Sacred to Secular,” at the Princeton United Methodist Church.  He will play works by Bach, Verne, and Liszt on the church’s pipe organ, with its 3 manuals, 74 stops, 48 ranks, and 2,775 pipes.  McWilliams will also present guest artists — flautist Anita Tong, soprano Laverna Albury, and organist Mark Paul. 4 p.m., Princeton United Methodist Church, 7 Vandeventer Ave. Entrance in the back of the building, Princeton.
